The Indiana Tech men's and women's lacrosse teams will play this week in the 2019 NAIA National Invitational at the Aquinas College Athletic Field in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The men received the No. 2 seed and will play No. 7 seed Keiser University in the quarterfinals at 1 p.m. today.
The Warriors are making their third straight appearance in the National Invitational with this being their highest seed. They finished the year 15-2 and moved up to second in the final NAIA Coaches' Top 10 Poll.
The men are 2-2 all time in invitational play and have reached the semifinals the last two years.
The Indiana Tech women are the No. 4 seed and will play fifth-seeded Keiser University in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The women are making their fourth straight trip to the National Invitational and are one of just three teams (Savannah College of Art and Design and Lawrence Tech) that have qualified for the event every season. Indiana Tech remained at No. 4 in the final NAIA Coaches' Top 10 Poll.
The Warriors are 3-3 all time in the event and reached the championship game last year and the semifinals two seasons ago.
