Two homicide victims who were found in different ends of the county within minutes of each other on Wednesday were in a relationship, Fort Wayne police said Monday.

Anton Javon Moore, 30, was found down a steep embankment in the 6600 block of Fairfield Avenue at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday. Jaime Lynn Klein, 30, was found in a home at 1024 Hartzell Road in New Haven at 8:23 a.m. Wednesday.

Moore had been shot to death and Klein had died from stab wounds.

Police confirmed they were in a relationship, but other than that would only say the slayings remain under investigation. Fort Wayne and New Haven police are investigating the slayings.

The two killings were the 42nd and 43rd homicides of the year in Allen County.
