Woman charged afterman stabbed at station

A Fort Wayne woman was charged Tuesday with stabbing a man outside a gas station after a witness told police he saw her stab her victim multiple times.

Brittany Roberson, 33, of the 3300 block of McKinnie Avenue, was charged with domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury after surveillance video at the Shell gas station in the 4100 block of Hessen Cassel Road showed her chasing down her victim and stabbing him at 12:20 a.m. Monday, court records said.

At the scene, a Fort Wayne officer patted Roberson down and found a knife, court documents said.

Roberson and her victim were apparently in a relationship for five months and had a history of domestic violence, court documents said.

She was being held at the Allen County Jail without bail for probation violations, a jail spokesman said. She has a court hearing Thursday.
