April 28, 1967: Fishing from a crane
COREY MCMAKEN | The Journal Gazette
Bonn B. Hill spent his lunch hour on April 28, 1967, fishing from the bucket of a crane at the site where Three Rivers Apartments was being constructed at the confluence of the city's rivers.
Hill told The Journal Gazette that he and other workmen had been talking about using the Hagerman Construction crane for fishing since it ahs been at the site, so he decided to give it a go.
He didn't have much luck. His one catch was an 8-inch catfish.
