FREE TV SHOW SCREENING: PBS39 will have free preview screenings of the new PBS kids program, “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum,” at several locations throughout northeast Indiana. The screenings are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the History Center, 302 E. Berry St.; 6 p.m. Tuesday at South Whitley Community Public Library, South Whitley; and at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Wabash County Historical Museum, Wabash.

GRANTS AWARDED: Indiana Humanities awarded the following Action Grants to local nonprofit organizations: $500, University of Saint Francis for its “Electing Lincoln: A Presentation of Items from the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection”; and $2,000, Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society for its George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series.
