John Weilbaker of Fort Wayne was chosen as a summer intern for AgriGold, an agriculture company that hires approximately 60 interns from all over the county to grow its brand awareness.

Theodore T. Storer joined Beers Mallers Backs & Salin LLP as a partner. Stephen W. Adair, an elder law attorney, was selected for the Lawyers of Distinction Selection Committee and was awarded for being the Best of the Best-America's Most Honored Lawyers.

Tom and Doris Schlemmer of Schlemmer's Critter Haven Farm in Huntertown were given the President's Award by the Alpaca Llama Show Association.

Sarah Lance joined NIIC's EmPWR program as a project manager and Jennifer Romano as its community engagement coordinator.

Lara Schreck was named executive director for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Fort Wayne.

Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana named to its board of directors as new members starting July 1 are Meg Saxman, secretary, Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne; Kyler Mills, treasurer, Baden Gage & Schroeder LLC; Giang Petroviak, vice president, social programming, Purdue University Fort Wayne; Beth Johnson, director at large, communications, Home Builders Association of Fort Wayne Inc.; Jessica Morales, director at large, leadership development, Canterbury School; and Chelsea Wolpert, director at large, community impact, Flint & Walling.

Named to the board of directors of Physicians Health Plan of Northern Indiana Inc. for a three-year term are Dr. Dennis C. Uhrhammer, Family Medicine, IU Health Fort Wayne; Dr. Mark C. Ranck, Radiation Oncology Associates; and Dr. David W. Stein, ENT Associates.

Phil Rich with Sweetwater was promoted to chief supply chain officer in its distribution center. Also appointed to the new distribution center were Robert Gerwig, senior vice president of distribution; Demarcus Austin, senior director; and Jeff Harrison, director of fulfillment, second shift.

Jason Sasse joined Brightmark as the plant manager of its new Ashley, Indiana plastics renewal plant.

Thomas Summerville with Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana was promoted to chief operating officer and Kelly Clouse to chief administrative officer.
