Julie Inskeep, publisher of The Journal Gazette, received the 2019 Liberty Bell Award from the Allen County Bar Association. The award is the bar association's highest honor to a non-attorney. It recognizes people who have given outstanding service through time and energy to strengthen the U.S. system of freedom under the law, in keeping with the spirit of the Constitution.

Ron Turpin, chief financial officer and principal at Gibson, a regional insurance broker and risk management services firm, is a recipient of the Distinguished Hoosier Award.

Christopher P. Moore, financial advisor and owner of Moore & Associates, was named to the list of “400 Top Financial Advisers” published by the Financial Times.

The Women's Entrepreneurial Opportunity Center recently presented awards to Amber Harper, owner of Burned-In Teacher and EdTech Consulting, and Jillian Lee, founder and CEO of UniqueLee Creations LLC. The event celebrates entrepreneurial success.

Angela Hughes with Faegre Baker Daniels was promoted to counsel at its Fort Wayne office.

Tom Sprunger with Travel Leaders was promoted to vice president of corporate operations; and Teri Cocklin was promoted to vice president of vacation operations.

Allen County Sheriff David Gladieuxwill help lead the statewide nonprofit Youth Ranch for future law enforcement officers, at-risk kids, young witnesses and victims of crime.
