Township officials meet in Indianapolis

A group of Allen County township trustees were among the record-setting 500 people who attended last month's Indiana Township Association educational conference in Indianapolis.

Attendees from Allen County included Mike Meyers and staff, Aboite Township; Denita Washington and staff, Adams Township; Lynn Rorick, Jefferson Township; Jane Linker, Charlotte Kaiser and Geraldine Franke, Madison Township; Harrold Kleine, Marion Township; Max Meyer, Monroe Township; Eric Tippmann, Perry Township; John D. Henry, Pleasant Township; Sarah Gnagy and staff, St. Joseph Township; Bill Harris, Springfield Township; Robert Arnold, Washington Township; Austin Knox and Callie Jones, Wayne Township. 

The conference ran from Sept. 22-25. According to the organization's registration packet, the Indiana Township Association "is striving to meet the educational needs of attendees from all sizes and types of townships" with its annual conference.
