Purdue basketball's matchup against Michigan State at Mackey Arena on Jan. 12, a contest between the two Big Ten co-champions of 2018-19, will be nationally-televised on CBS at either noon or 3:30 p.m., the Big Ten announced today. The Boilermakers will also play a primetime game against Ohio State in Columbus on Feb. 15, which will be broadcast on FOX at noon.
The Big Ten released tip time and broadcast information for its 2019-20 schedule today. Purdue will play on ESPN seven times, Fox Sports 1 six times and CBS Sports Network twice. The rest of its games, outside of the aforementioned Ohio State and Michigan State matchups, on the Big Ten Network or BTN+, the channel's online streaming service.
The Boilers' game against defending national champion Virginia at Mackey Arena on Dec. 4, a rematch of a thrilling Elite Eight battle in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, will be on ESPN, but a tip time has yet to be announced. A matchup on Nov. 30 against either Florida State or Tennessee, a pair of 2019 Sweet 16 teams, will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network at another TBA tip time.
The Boilermakers' matchup against Indiana in Bloomington on Feb. 8 will be on ESPN at 2 p.m., while the return trip to Mackey Arena on Feb. 27 will be on FS1 at 7 p.m.
