Mastodons finish nonconference schedule with a win

In the final non-conference game of the season Purdue Fort Wayne put on a show, defeating Siena Heights 106-45 before on going holiday break.

After a close opening few minutes, it was all Mastodons. A Kason Harrell steal and fast break basket was immediately followed by a Jarred Godfrey steal and finish with contact at the rim to stretch the lead to 45-27 with 54 seconds left in the half.

PFW (8-7) had 17 points off of nine Siena Heights turnovers in the first half, and finished with 24 points off of 18 turnovers.

Matt Holba scored nine points on three 3-pointers and three rebounds in the first two-plus minutes of the second half to extend the lead to 58-27. He finished with 15 points, all in the second half.

John Konchar finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting. It's his 42nd career double-double. He also notched his 1,000th career rebound.

DeMarco Dickerson led Siena Heights with 11 points in what was an exhibition game for the Saints.
