For the second time in two weeks, an Indiana Tech player has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week award.
Warriors freshman Kim Siercks of Bochum, Germany, was recognized by the conference Monday after finishing second at the Lindsey Wilson Fall Kickoff with an even-par 144 last week. She recorded an eagle and seven birdies during the tournament, and her score was just two strokes off the program's 36-hole record.
Indiana Tech took second as a team with a score of 605, a record-low for the program.
Cecilia Heck, also a native of Germany, was named Player of the Week last Monday.
