Mad Ants make first cuts

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

The Mad Ants made their first cuts of training camp, releasing Deion McClenton, Wade Guerin and Theo Johnson. If there's a surprise in that trio, it was probably McClenton, who was one of their draft picks. The other two came via open tryouts. Also, Ike Anigbogu was called back to the NBA's Indiana Pacers but should be back soon. The Mad Ants' roster currently stands at 13 and they have to get down to 12, but remember that Anigbogu and Edmond Sumner will probably be back.
