Hicks, Hollins back with Mad Ants

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

Stephan Hicks and Tra-Deon Hollins will be back with the Mad Ants when they open training camp Monday afternoon at the ASH Centre, general manager Brian Levy said, adding that Edmond Sumner will also be with the team on a two-way contract.

Sumner, of course, turned lots of heads with his play with the Indiana Pacers during the preseason.

We'll know more of the roster after Saturday's G League draft. The Mad Ants don't have a first-round pick because of the trade last season that brought them Jamil Wilson, but their first pick is the third in the second round.

The Mad Ants have three picks overall. They have done well in recent drafts, getting players such as Walter Lemon Jr., Jordan Loyd and Hicks.

Omari Johnson and Elijah Stewart are players I'm expecting to be in camp, too, after they were let go from Pacers camp.
