Hodgman suspended 2 games

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

The Komets’ leading scorer, Justin Hodgman, has been suspended two games by the ECHL for his baseball swing of the stick toward the Kalamazoo Wings’ Tanner Sorenson at the end of Thursday’s 2-1 Fort Wayne victory.

Hodgman made little-to-no contact with Sorenson after he’d been checked into the crossbar.

He will miss two big games — Saturday at Memorial Coliseum against Cincinnati and Sunday at Toledo, Ohio.

And remember, Taylor Crunk has one more game to serve on his suspension.
