Priming Komets vs. Kalamazoo

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

When the Komets take on the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30 p.m. today at Memorial Coliseum, I know one thing: The Wings probably want to keep Justin Hodgman in check. In five games of the season series, Hodgman has totaled a whopping two goals and 10 points. Kalamazoo's leading scorer? Kyle Thomas with two goals and five points.

However, what really matters is victories and the Wings have won three of the first five meetings.

  • If you're attending the Komets Alumni Game vs. the Trine House team 7:30 p.m. Friday at Thunder Ice Arena, there's been another addition: Ben Boudreau, the Komets' assistant coach, will skate for the Komets.
