Former Komets player Milan gets 10 more games

The ECHL has suspended former Komets defenseman Dan Milan, who now plays for the Reading Royals, an additional 10 games for his actions Friday in a game against the Adirondack Thunder. After the Royals gave up a goal to another former Komets player, Dennis Kravchenko, Milan got control of the puck on a faceoff and shot the puck into the Adirondack bench. The ECHL apparently deemed it to have been done deliberately.
The puck struck Thunder coach Alex Loh, according to The Saratogian. The action by Milan prompted the Thunder's Brian Ward to leave the bench and try and get at Milan. Officials interceded, though Ward tried to kick Milan.
Ward was suspended five games on Saturday and Milan was suspended indefinitely pending a hearing.
