3 arrested in triple shooting

Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and another with life-threatening injuries early today. 

Officers said they responded to the incident about 12:30 a.m. at a house, 2405 Barnhart Ave., on the city's northeast side. 

A man was dead when police arrived and another man and woman were taken to a local hospital badly hurt from the shooting with apparent gunshot wounds, officers said. 

This morning, the Allen County coroner said the woman has died as well. 

Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for Thursday and more information will be provided, the coroner said. 

Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting. 

Arrested were: 

  • Kyaw Hlang, 22, from Fort Wayne. Hlang is charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of felony murder, robbery, warrant probation violation and warrant violation of reentry court; 
  • Kerwins Louis, 20, from Fort Wayne. Lewis is charged with two counts of felony murder, robbery and possession of a controlled substance; 
  • Jamesley Paul, 23, from Fort Wayne. Paul is charged with two counts of felony murder and robbery.
