Fort Wayne police are investigating a vehicle crash that has a 9-year-old boy at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers said they arrived at the intersection of Paulding Road and Fairfield Avenue about 7:17 p.m. Tuesday and found the child unresponsive. Paramedics took him to the hospital, according to a news release.
Police said witnesses told them the boy was riding a bike northbound in the area when he rode into the path of a vehicle headed west on Paulding.
