The Journal Gazette

A Bourbon man is dead after the SUV he was driving struck a semi Tuesday afternoon in Kosciusko County.

Tony Cormeny, 60, was driving west on W. Old Road 30 around 3 p.m. when his SUV went left of center into the path of a semi going east driven by Mark Hott, 44, of Kewanna, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.

It said the SUV struck the semi head-on while Hott was trying to avoid the collision.

Cormeny died at the scene. Hott received minor injuries.
