There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, mainly south of U.S. 30, the National Weather Service said.
An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible, with damaging winds and large hail the main potential threats, the weather service said.
It said thunderstorms are likely tonight, and some of those storms may be severe; the potential main threats are large hail and locally heavy rain.
In an area including Mercer County, Ohio, occasional showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight, the weather service said. A few of the storms may become severe, with damaging wind and large hail the primary threat; locally heavy rain may result in isolated flooding concerns.
