Panthers top Knights; Duff scores 40
Dillon Duff had a career day for Snider. The junior notched a double-double of 40 points on 17-of-24 shooting and 11 rebounds as the Panthers routed Bishop Luers 104-45 Friday night at Snider. He was unstoppable in the paint, where he scored 24 points.
Sophomore Michael Eley added 21 points in the win, going 8 of 13 from the field and nailing four 3-pointers.
Junior Jalen Causey had a team-high 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting for Luers.
WAYNE 70, SOUTH SIDE 67: At South Side, Craig Young went 8 of 13 from the field for 27 points to lead the Generals. Wayne jumped out to a 24-13 first quarter lead, and despite South Side outscoring the Generals in the second half, the lead was safe. Austin Jordan led the Archers with 16 points, and Kamron Mitchell added 11.
HOMESTEAD 53, CONCORDIA 33: At Homestead, Alec Grinsfelder led the Spartans with 16 points and Trent Loomis added 12. Adam Gottschalk led the Cadets with 10 points.
JAY COUNTY 55, HERITAGE 53: In Monroeville, Michael Schlechty scored 29 points as Jay County clinched the ACAC title. Alec Burton scored 14 points to lead Heritage.
LEO 63, COLUMBIA CITY 45: At Leo, Aaron Kimball scored 17 points, and the Lions outrebounded the Eagles 40-21. Blake Davison and DJ Allen each added 14 for Leo. Mitchell Wilson scored 25 points to lead Columbia City.
ADAMS CENTRAL 61, SOUTH ADAMS 36: In Monroe, Keven Brown scored 25 points as the Adams Country rivalry went to the Flying Jets. Ben Voirol added 16 for Adams Central. Nick Miller led South Adams with 13.
GOSHEN 42, WAWASEE 41, 2OT: In Goshen, the RedHawks edged Wawasee 8-7 in the second overtime to take the win. The game was tied at 29 at the end of the regulation. Bryant Robinson scored 19 for Goshen, and Austin Miller had 14 for Wawasee.
CENTRAL NOBLE 60, LAKELAND 58: In Albion, Ridley Zolman scored 23 and Connor Essegian scored 23 to lead the Cougars. Brayden Bontrager scored 26 for the Lakers.
BLUFFTON 73, NORTHFIELD 54: In Wabash, Jonathan Irwin's 20 points and Brady Green's 18 points carried the Tigers, who used a 21-point fourth quarter to seal the win. Jared Peas led Northfield with 15.
