Milestone reached in win by Chargers
Carroll's Kelli Damman scored her 1,000th career point as the Chargers defeated Norwell 83-62 on Tuesday in girls basketball.
Damman, who led Carroll (11-5) with 39 points, scored her milestone point with 6:05 left to play in the third period.
Grace Bradtmueller led the Knights (10-5) with 19 points, Aubrey Dunnuck added 15 and Maiah Shelton 14.
BELLMONT 64, SOUTH ADAMS 38: At South Adams, Lexi Dellinger scored 15 points to become the Starfires' (8-7) all-time leading scorer with 1,126 career points.
Meghan Busick scored 18, Grace Hunter added 15 and Emily Fuelling 10 for the Braves (13-3).
FAIRFIELD 48, GARRETT 21: At Fairfield, Lexi Baver led the Railroaders (5-9) with 11 points. Felicity Bontrager scored 14 and Jenean Schwartz added 10 for the Falcons (13-1).
ANTWERP (Ohio) 39, WOODLAN 34: At Woodlan, Addison Bayman scored 15 to lead the Warriors (6-11).
DEKALB 64, WAWASEE 54: At Wawasee, Logan Kruse scored 22 and Isaac Brown added 20 for the Barons (6-3). Aaron Evans led the Warriors (3-6) with 12.
NEW HAVEN 77, SNIDER 61: At Snider, Zach Latham scored 20, Donovynn Lewis added 17, Brecar Clark added 15 and Antwone Washington 11 for the Bulldogs (6-4).
BLUFFTON 36, CENTRAL NOBLE 35: At Bluffton, the Tigers (4-5) came back after trailing 17-11 at halftime. Bluffton was led by Max Corle's 14 points. Trey Phillips scored 10 for the Cougars (3-6).
Concordia's Tanner Echenoz will sign Thursday to play baseball at Concordia (Michigan).
