Whitko wins on no-hitter, 14 Ks

Drew Bradford pitched a no-hitter as Whitko topped Maconaquah 3-0 Wednesday in high school baseball.

Bradford walked one and struck out 14 as the Wildcats scored all their runs in the first, including Bradford on an RBI single from River West.


CARROLL 145, HOMESTEAD 148: At Chestnut Hills, Cam Boyce led the Chargers with a 2-under 34 and Cayden Yourdon shot an even 36. Austin Render shot a 35 for the Spartans.


FREMONT 16, CANTERBURY 4: At Fremont, Lexus Lyon had a triple and a double, Autumn Godwin had three doubles and Gabrielle Saltzgaber had two doubles for the Eagles.

SOUTH ADAMS 10, RANDOLPH SOUTHERN 1: At Randolph Southern, Taylor Augsburger went 3 of 3 with three RBI and two runs for the Starfires. Anna Nussbaum pitched six innings of relief.

CONCORDIA 78, BISHOP DWENGER 60, BISHOP LUERS 27.5: At Concordia, the Cadets earned multiple-event wins from Liam Fletcher, who won the 100 meters (11.3 seconds) and 200 (23.3) and Bishop Dwenger's Reyer Howe won the shot put (45 feet, 8 inches) and discus (150-8).


BISHOP DWENGER 94, CONCORDIA 43, BISHOP LUERS 27: At Concordia, the Saints got multiple-event wins from Claire Beier, who won the shot put (32-2) and discus (84 feet).
