Trine at Lakeland

Records: Trine 2-0, Lakeland 0-1

When: 2 p.m. Saturday

Where: Taylor Field, Plymouth, Wis.

Outlook: Trine is coming off a dominating 34-13 win over Bluffton. Lamar Carswell rushed for 157 yards and scored four touchdowns, giving the senior eight over the first two games. Marcus Winters picked up his 20th career interception in the win, making him the all-time interception leader in the program. Senior Jeffery Barnett caught five passes for 47 yards but made more of an impact on special teams, going 95 yards on a kickoff return for a touchdown. ... Lakeland is coming off a 45-26 season-opening loss to Carroll. The Muskies blew a 26-24 lead late in the third quarter, giving up 21 points in the final 15 minutes. The Muskies bring a fairly balanced offense but struggled with turnovers. Completing just 3 of 14 third downs didn't help them either. The teams last played in 2015, when the Muskies won 61-35.
