Flurries are flying side ways from gusts of wind out of the west. I am perfectly content to stay inside and watch the advance of winter from the comfort of my family room.

Just had to share my “winter beauty” with you.

My sister, who lives in Grand Haven, Mich., started this crazy fad when a tree in her backyard died and she didn’t want to take it out.

I don’t know what it lives on, since there can’t be much soil in the pot.
