KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The most grueling stretch of the season -- perhaps any season in Komets history -- is over.The Komets' 25th game in 44 days ended with a 3-2 loss to the Kalamazoo Wings, in front of 4,039 fans, about 400 of them from Fort Wayne, at Wings Stadium on Saturday night.

The Komets had a chance to pull into a tie for first place in the North Division, but they squandered it with a 5-3 loss to the Toledo Walleye at Memorial Coliseum on Friday night.
Additionally, the ECHL has added 10 more players for the All-Star game next Wednesday.
Mike Hoban scored the lone goal in the third period as the visiting Komets beat Evansville 1-0 on Wednesday.
They won't be in the lineup tonight at Evansville, but the Komets have a lot of help on the way.
