DAVE GONG | The Journal Gazette

Authorities seeking a northwest Ohio man charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend have released new information.

According to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, Matthew J. Dempsey, 46, might be driving a tan 2001 Buick Regal four-door with Ohio license number GYR4176.

Dempsey was last seen in Bryan about 6 a.m. Sunday – nearly eight hours before Paulding County sheriff's deputies responded to his home for a welfare check and found his girlfriend dead, according to a sheriff's office news release.

It wasn't obvious how Gina L. Mann died, the release said. Mann, 47, was found in a vehicle parked inside the garage at her and Dempsey's home in Paulding.

Anyone with information about Dempsey's whereabouts should contact the Paulding County Sheriff's Office at 419-399-3791, leave information on the sheriff's Facebook page, send an anonymous tip at www.pauldingohsheriff.com or call local law enforcement.
