The former president and CEO of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation is charged with stealing from the organization.
An audit found Ryne R. Krock made $4,000 in unauthorized purchases from June 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2017, a news release from the Indiana State Police said. He turned himself in Tuesday and is charged with two counts of felony theft and a misdemeanor count of theft.
State police began an investigation in January after an outside firm conducted the audit.
Krock was hired in 2015 and announced his resignation in January, according to the News Sun in LaGrange County and Inside Indiana Business.
