Fort Wayne police arrested a man in Saturday's shooting in the 1200 block of Lillie Street that left two women, one of whom was pregnant, dead.

The Allen County coroner has ruled the case a triple homicide.

Deyante Antuan Stephens, 26, of Fort Wayne, has been charged with two counts of murder, and other charges are pending, police said.

Police found Preonda M. Jones, 37, and Brianna R. Gould, 24, both of Fort Wayne, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside a home.

Jones died at the scene and Gould was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, the coroner said.

After an autopsy, the cause of death for both Jones and Gould was determined to be a gunshot wound or wounds and their deaths were were ruled homicides.

Gould was pregnant at the time of the shooting, the coroner said, and her unborn fetus would have been of a viable age if he had been born.

Baby boy Gould's death was determined to be intrauterine demise because of a gunshot wound or wounds, and his death was also ruled a homicide.

The three homicides bring the number of homicides in Allen County this year to five.
