2 men rob restaurant, force staff into freezer

JAMIE DUFFY | The Journal Gazette

Police are looking for two men who robbed a fast-food restaurant Wednesday night before ordering employees into a freezer.

Fort Wayne police said the two masked men, one of them armed, entered the Burger King at 6402 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Covington Plaza about 9 p.m.

The two men took an undisclosed amount of cash before ordering three employees to enter the restaurant's freezer. The robbers then fled, police said.

Police said they are hoping surveillance cameras from surrounding businesses captured images of the robbers. The restaurant doesn't have surveillance cameras, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.
