Felony report

The following people were charged with felonies in Allen Circuit and Superior courts. Misdemeanor charges are also listed if the person is charged with a felony. 

Kevin Johnson, 37, of the 1700 block of High Street, was charged May 7 with possessing a synthetic drug and misdemeanor public intoxication. He was released on his own recognizance but is being held on another charge.

Matthew P. Tustison, 45, of the 1200 block of Breck Street, was charged May 7 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and misdemeanor counts of theft, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Jimmie Alfonzo Cearo, 31, of the 1400 block of Eckart Street, was charged May 7 with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Desmon D. White, 21, of the 3800 block of Manito Boulevard, was charged May 8 with residential break-in and misdemeanor criminal mischief. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Luis Cardenas, 27, of the 2700 block of South Anthony Boulevard, was charged May 8 with operating a vehicle after being judged a habitual traffic offender. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Calvin W. Mitchell, aka Calvin W. Fields, 36, of the 600 block of Anderson Avenue, was charged May 8 with two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a firearm, maintaining a common nuisance, resisting law enforcement and a misdemeanor count of possessing marijuana. He was being held in lieu of $115,000 bail.

Terence W. Ashcraft, aka Terrence Ashcraft, 31, of the 4500 block of Brookshire Circle, was charged May 8 with possessing a synthetic drug. He was released on his own recognizance.

Eric C. Culbertson, 42, of Butler, was charged May 8 with possessing a narcotic drug and misdemeanor counts of possessing a synthetic drug and possessing paraphernalia. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Alexander Rasmussen, 26, of New Haven, was charged May 8 with resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor counts of operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equal to 0.15 percent or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, driving while suspended and possessing paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.

Brandon Michael Morris, 31, of the 2300 block of West Washington Center Road, was charged May 8 with possessing a narcotic drug and possessing methamphetamine. He was released on his own recognizance.

Matthew G. Harris, 20, of the 12000 block of Crossway Drive, was charged May 8 with four counts of sexual misconduct. He was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Demarcus Thomas, 32, of the 2000 block of Maumee Avenue, was charged May 8 with invasion of privacy. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

William H. Blanton Jr., 22, was charged May 8 with two counts of resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor counts of resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended, possessing marijuana and criminal mischief. He was being held in lieu of $5,750 bail.

Michael A. Green Jr., 18, of the 4100 block of Dalewood Drive, was charged May 9 with pointing a firearm at another person and a misdemeanor count of carrying a handgun without a license. He was being held in lieu of $3,250 bail.

Haley Thompson, aka Haley Cripe, 24, of the 2000 block of St. Marys Avenue, was charged May 9 with possessing a narcotic drug. She was released on her own recognizance.

Kyle Z. Letner, 28, of the 2700 block of Poinsette Drive, as charged May 9 with unlawful possession of a syringe and a misdemeanor count of possessing marijuana. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Lonnie Strong, 35, of the 3100 block of Wells Street, was charged May 9 with two counts of domestic battery. He was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Sotirios Petros Bourounis, 25, of the 12200 block of Cross Winds Way, was charged May 9 with operating a vehicle after being judged a habitual traffic offender. He was released on his own recognizance.

Timothy W. Ohneck, 70, of Indianapolis, was charged May 9 with theft. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

John M. Elkins, 41, of the 2800 block of Southway Drive, was charged May 9 with invasion of privacy. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Nicole C. Walker, 29, of the 4400 block of Anthony Wayne Drive Southwest, was charged May 10 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, resisting law enforcement and a misdemeanor count of refusing to identify herself. She was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Jessie Rosas, 38, of the 1400 block of Columbia Avenue, was charged May 10 with public indecency. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Deandre D. Taylor, 26, of the 100 block of East Leith Street, was charged May 10 with failure to return to lawful detention. He was being held in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Scott Allen Hedges, 40, of the 13600 block of West Washington Center Road, was charged May 10 with possessing methamphetamine, possessing cocaine and a misdemeanor count of possessing marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance.

Trae Bennett, 22, of the 3700 block of South Barr Street, was charged May 10 with two counts of domestic battery and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. He was being held in lieu of $5,750 bail.

Robert L. Wells, 24, of the 500 block of East Maple Grove Avenue, was charged May 10 with resisting law enforcement and a misdemeanor count of intentionally operating a motor vehicle without receiving a license. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Matthew D. Lothamer, 28, of the 5600 block of Kohart Place, was charged May 10 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Derrick Brown, 39, of the 2900 block of Dexter Drive, was charged May 10 with domestic battery. He was being held on $2,500 bail.

Joshua J. Bailey, 36, of the 3900 block of Graystone Avenue, was charged May 10 with obstruction of justice. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.
