A high-ranking Huntington University official resigned this week amid a police investigation.
Vince Haupert, who had been the college's vice president for advancement, submitted his resignation Tuesday, said university spokeswoman Lynette Fager. She declined to comment further.
The investigation was confirmed Friday by police and Huntington County Prosecutor Amy Richison, but none would offer specifics on allegations.
Indiana State Police spokesman Ron Galaviz acknowledged an investigation in Huntington County, noting it does not include an incident or incidents on campus.
Richison said she has not received information from investigators.
No charges have been filed against Haupert, as of late Friday afternoon, according to court records.
