A community is more than just a place where people live.
It's a place where residents lay down roots, find their tribe and work to make it a better place for the next generation.
It's a place where people take advantage of all there is to offer, whether it's parks, trails, lakes, festivals, arts or entertainment.
Many residents have created their own “community” within the community – those organizations, events or spots where people of like mind can gather and celebrate.
There is no shortage of volunteers who will donate their time for various causes, or come together in times of tragedy or to fill a need.
American pride is still strong and veterans are honored and celebrated.
