Hi, Archie! Royal baby introduced
Tired but beaming, the duke and duchess of Sussex showed the public their baby son's face for the first time on Wednesday, and also revealed his name: Archie.
Meghan and Prince Harry said their son, seventh in line to the British throne, is named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Mountbatten-Windsor is a surname used by some members of the royal family.
The couple did not choose an aristocratic title for the baby, who is not a prince but could have been given a title with “Lord” before his first name.
Archie is an increasingly popular name in Britain and was among top 20 most common boy's names in 2017, according to the Office for National Statistics.
Justin Timberlake's songwriting chops will be honored next month.
The pop star will receive the Contemporary Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 13 at the organization's 50th annual induction ceremony in New York.
Timberlake is the second person to receive the honor; Lady Gaga earned it in 2015. The Songwriters Hall said the award is given to a “songwriter-artist who has attained an iconic status in pop culture.”
Flint death ruling
A British coroner says there is not enough evidence to determine whether The Prodigy star Keith Flint took his own life.
Flint was found dead at his home in the village of North End, in eastern England, on March 4. He was 49.
An inquest held Wednesday revealed that he died by hanging, and that cocaine, alcohol and codeine were in his system.
Coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray said there was not enough evidence to conclude that his death was caused either by accident or due to suicide.
