A local man will be playing for big money this morning on “The Price is Right.”

James Zix will appear on the long-running CBS game show, which airs at 11 a.m. He is the final contestant to make his way to the stage with host Drew Carey, according to a brief video clip provided by a “Price” spokeswoman.

This is Big Money Week on the show, which means the prize amounts are increased.

It was not revealed how Zix fared on the show.

Dog fight

Comedian Katt Williams has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a hired driver during an argument about taking him and his dog from the Portland, Oregon, airport to a performance in the city.

Williams came to Portland to perform in Nick Cannon's “Wild 'N Out” comedy show Friday.

The town car driver had swelling and cuts on his face and was treated at a hospital, according to police. The comedian, 47, left in another vehicle and was arrested Saturday. He has been charged with assault in the fourth degree. He also was arrested for an out-of-state warrant from Georgia.

False alarm

Lil Wayne ended a performance early after rumors of gunshots caused panic at the A3C Festival in Atlanta.

Police say the rapper was on stage Sunday when a person in the crowd yelled they heard gunshots. People tried to flee.

WXIA-TV reports at least a dozen people were hurt with injuries ranging from sprained ankles to gashes. Police say there's no evidence any shots were fired.
