Special events

• St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 3535 Crescent Ave., will have its Taste of St. Nicholas Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

• Zion Lutheran Church, 10th and Monroe streets, Decatur, will have a craft, sweets and treats show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Lunch will also be available for purchase.

• Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Ave., will have its annual Community Turkey Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. A freewill donation will be accepted.

• Congregation Achduth Vesholom, 5200 Old Mill Road, will have an interfaith service of Thanksgiving at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Clergy from a diverse group of faith organizations will participate. The Rev. Angelo Mante will deliver the message, “An Inside Out Community: Waging Peace in Our Hearts and Neighborhoods.

Special music

Broadway Christian Church, 910 Broadway, will host a concert by the Unclouded Day quartet and band at 4 p.m. Sunday. The concert is free, but a freewill donation will be accepted. The money will go to the church's efforts to raise money to install an elevator that will help the church be fully accessible to people with physical limitations or disabilities.
