GRANTS: The National Endowment for the Arts awarded a $20,000 grant to Fort Wayne Dance Collective and a $10,000 grant to University of Saint Francis for its Jesters performing arts program.

CHOIR REHEARSALS: The Summit City Singers is beginning rehearsals for its spring season on Tuesday. Auditions are not required but singers must be able to make pitch. Rehearsals are from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Shawnee Middle School, 1000 E. Cook Road. The choir is open to any age from high school through adult.

• First Presbyterian Theater will have auditions for “The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and the Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord” on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. at 300 W. ART CLASS: The Art Farm, 17612 N County Line Road E, Spencerville, will have a talisman jewelry workshop with Lisa Vetter from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 17. Cost is $85. There also will be a fiber art felting workshop with Sierra Cole for $65 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10 and a 2D mixed media workshop with Hannah Burnworth for $75 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24.
