GRANT AWARDED: Fernando Ismael Tarango of Fort Wayne received a career development grant from the Indiana Arts Commission for music.

ART ENTRIES SOUGHT: The Good Shepherd Institute of Concordia Theological Seminary is seeking artists for its art exhibit. The theme is based on the great “Solas of the Reformation: Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura” and artwork submitted should reflect one or more of these cornerstones of the Reformation (grace alone, faith alone and scripture alone). ILLUSTRATION RESIDENCY: Artist Rebecca Stockert will be doing an illustration residency at the Gene Stratton-Porter Historical Site in Rome City from Tuesday through July 15 and July 18 to 22. As part of the residency, she will have two classes. The first is a Youth Floral Watercolor Illustration: Painting Flowers in Gene Stratton-Porter's Garden from 1 to 3 p.m. July 15 at the site, 1205 Pleasant Point, Rome City. Cost is $10, includes supplies and is for ages 8 to 14 years old. The second is Adult Floral Watercolor Illustration: Painting in Gene Stratton-
