Snider's Duff nets 40 in win

Dillon Duff had a career day for Snider. The junior notched a double-double of 40 points on 17-of-24 shooting and 11 rebounds as Snider routed Bishop Luers 104-45 Friday night at Snider. He was unstoppable in the paint, scoring 24 of 40 at the rim.

Sophomore Michael Eley added 21 points in the win, going 8 of 13 from the field and nailing four 3-pointers.

Junior Jalen Causey scored a team-high 17 points on 7 of 14 shooting for Luers, but the Panthers were too much.

 

WAYNE 70, SOUTH SIDE 67: At South Side, Craig Young went 8 of 13 from the field for 27 points in the Generals' win. Wayne jumped out to a 24-13 first quarter lead, and despite South Side outscoring them in the second half, the lead was safe. Austin Jordan led South Side with 16 points and Kamron Mitchell added 11.

HOMESTEAD 53, CONCORDIA 33: At Homestead, Alec Grinsfelder led the way with 16 points and Trent Loomis added 12 in the Spartans' SAC win. Adam Gottschalk led the Cadets with 10 points.

JAY COUNTY 55, HERITAGE 53: In Albion, Jay County clinched the ACAC title behind Michael Schlechty's 29 points. Alec Burton scored 14 points to lead Heritage.

LEO 63, COLUMBIA CITY 45: At Leo, the Lions out-rebounded the Eagles 40-21 in the 18-point win. Aaron Kimball led Leo with 17 points. Blake Davison and DJ Allen each  added 14. Columbia City was paced by Mitchell Wilson's 25 points, but none of his teammates added more than seven.

ADAMS CENTRAL 61, SOUTH ADAMS 36: In Monroe, the Adams Country rivalry went to the Flying Jets. Kevin Brown had 25 points to lead Adams Central and Ben Voirol added 16. Nick Miller led South  Adams with 13.

GOSHEN 42, WAWASEE 41: In Goshen, Goshen edged Wawasee 8-7 in the second overtime to take the win. The game was tied at 29 at the end of the regulation. Each team scored five in the first overtime before Goshen took the advantage in the final frame. Bryant Robinson scored 19 for Goshen and Austin Miller had 14 for Wawasee. 

CENTRAL NOBLE 60, LAKELAND 58: In Albion, Ridley Zolman scored 23 and Connor Essegian scored 23 in the Cougars' win. Brayden Bontrager scored 26 to almost complete the comeback win.

BLUFFTON 73, NORTHFIELD 54: In Wabash, Jonathan Irwin's 20 points and Brady Green's 18 points carried Bluffton to the win. A big, 21-point fourth quarter sealed it for Bluffton. Jared Peas led Northfield with 15.
