After a series of pool games at the NFA7v7 National Tournament, the AWP team will head into double elimination play today in Brandenton, Florida. AWP went 1-3, dropping it's last game to Jacksonville's Record Breakerz 12-22.

The team's one win came against the NextLevel Nighthawks in its second game, where Dashon Bussell and Hunter Causey's strong defensive efforts carried the team to a 30-10 victory.

There are 33 teams in this year's tournament.

"We played one of the toughest brackets," AWP president Michael Ledo said. "It was very quality competition to prepare us for (Sunday)."

AWP will take on Jacksonville at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the first game.
