Two women from Allen County have been selected for the 29th class of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.

Lindsay Hannah, director of development for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, and Fort Wayne resident Nicole Keesling, a field organizer for the Republican National Committee are among 20 Republican women from Indiana chosen for the class, which will meet monthly from October to May.

The mission of the political training program is to "increase the number and influence of Republican women in elected and appointed governmental positions at the local, state and federal levels."
