Five endorse Tritch for Congress

Congressional candidate Courtney Tritch announced Tuesday she has received the endorsements of five current or past Democratic elected officials in Allen County.

Tritch, who seeks the Democratic nomination next year in northeast Indiana's 3rd District, said she was endorsed by Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry, state Rep. Phil GiaQuinta of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne City Councilman Geoff Paddock, Allen County Councilwoman Sharon Tucker and Win Moses, a former Fort Wayne mayor, City Council member and state representative.

"Courtney's expertise as a small business owner and her appreciation and respect for the individual rights of citizens help set her apart as the best person to represent us in Congress," Henry said in a statement.

Tritch operates a marketing consultancy business and is a former vice president of marketing for the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, an economic development organization. She is among three announced Democratic candidates – the others are Fort Wayne residents David Roach and Tommy Schrader – for the U.S. House seat held by Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Columbia City.
