Saint Francis volleyball clinches spot in NAIA tournament

One win, three accomplishments.

The Saint Francis volleyball team beat Indiana Wesleyan 25-15, 24-26, 25-23, 9-25, 15-13 in the Crossroads League tournament semifinal Wednesday. With the win, the Cougars advance to the Crossroads League tournament final, which will be played at Marian at 6 p.m. Saturday.

By advancing to the league championship final, the Cougars have clinched a spot in the NAIA tournament. The victory was Saint Francis's 30th of the season, the first time in the program's 44-year-history that the Cougars have won 30 matches in a season. 

Marian and Saint Francis also shared the Crossroads League regular season title. 

Anne Clark led the Cougars with 14 kills against Indiana Wesleyan. Kendra Siefring had 13, and Cassidy Rammel and Ava Kunkler each had 12.
