No. 2 Cougars win 10th straight

The No. 2 Saint Francis men's basketball team won its 10th straight game with a 92-85 overtime decision over No. 11 Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida on Friday.

The Cougars (11-2) trailed 39-37 at halftime but led 81-78 with 23 seconds left.

Southeastern's Ryan Atkins made a tying 3-pointer with nine seconds left to send the game into overtime as a jumper from Derek Hinen missed the mark as time expired in regulation.

Saint Francis' Bryce Lienhoop scored the go-ahead layup 18 seconds into the overtime period.

Lienhoop led the Cougars with 33 points and 13 rebounds. Hinen had 22 points, Evan Henry 11 and Chandler White 10 for Saint Francis.

Atkins led the Fire with 30 points.


No. 10 INDIANA TECH 77, CONCORDIA 62: At the Schaefer Center, Keanna Gary led the Warriors (12-1, 6-1 WHAC) with 25 points and 12 rebounds, Haley Cook added 20 points and DeAnn Kauffman had 13.

Kari Borowiak paced the Cardinals (9-5, 5-4) with 18 points.
