Notre Dame lands offensive line recruit

Notre Dame received a commitment Monday from a fourth recruit in four days in the class of 2019 when offensive lineman Andrew Kristofic announced on Twitter he would play for the Irish.
"I am extremely happy and excited to announce that this recruiting process is over and I am committed to the UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME!!!," Kristofic wrote on Twitter.
The 6-foot-6 tackle is the No. 8 player in the class from Pennsylvania, according to 247sports.com's rankings. He attended Pine-Richland High School and played there with 2018 Notre Dame quarterback signee Phil Jurkovec.
"Congrats stoff!!," Jurkovec wrote on Twitter. "We won together in high school, now let's get ready to win at the next level."
Kristofic was a coveted recruit, earning offers from Clemson, Michigan and Ohio State, among others. His commitment is the seventh for the Irish for 2019 and moves Notre Dame's class up to No. 14 in 247sports.com's rankings.
