Zombo gets suspended
JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette
The Komets may be without Justin Hodgman for Game 2 of the Central Division semifinals. But the Cincinnati Cyclones will definitely be without the man who sent Hodgman off the ice Saturday.
The ECHL has suspended Dominic Zombo one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for his check to Hodgman’s head in Game 1. Hodgman wasn’t able to return to the game, ultimately won 4-3 by the Komets in double overtime. Zombo got a match penalty in the game.
The teams meet again at 6 p.m. tonight at the Coliseum. I don’t have any update on Hodgman.
