Komets need to correct turnovers against Wheeling

The Komets didn't play their best in a 6-4 win over Rapid City on Friday night. Coach Gary Graham attributes the inconsistencies to turnovers, an aspect where everyone shares a little fault.
"I think everybody has to take a look in the mirror when it comes to turnovers," he said. "It's sometimes forwards not getting back, to the D not giving them quick enough options, against a quicker forechecking team like Rapid City.
"It's also the wingers trying to make the perfect play all the time when the best thing is sometimes chipping the puck up. We have to continue to force our forward group to understand risk-reward hockey."
The team travels to Wheeling on Saturday. The Nailers beat the Indy Fuel 7-3 on Friday.
"We get a big challenge because you go in and play a Wheeling team that's a very offensive team," Graham said. "It has very good goaltending. It's one of the hottest teams in the league right now. I think they're 8-2 over their last 10 games."
