TinCaps rally to beat Great Lakes

MIDLAND, Mich. – Buddy Reed scored on a forceout in the top of the 10th inning to lead the Fort Wayne TinCaps to a 5-4 win over the Great Lakes Loons on Saturday.
Reed scored after he reached base on a forceout and advanced to third on an error.
The TinCaps tied the game 4-4 in the ninth when Jack Suwinski scored on a wild pitch as part of a two-run inning.
Reliever Hansel Rodriguez (5-9) went three scoreless innings, giving up two hits while striking out eight to pick up the win. Andre Scrubb (4-1) went 1 1/3 innings, giving up one run while striking out two and walking two.
Note: San Diego transferred Tyler Benson, a utility player, from Fort Wayne’s roster to Short-Season Tri-City. In turn, Tyler Selesky, also a utility play, has rejoined the TinCaps from High-A Lake Elsinore.
