BURLINGTON, Iowa – Reinaldo Ilarraza scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 10th inning to lead the TinCaps to a 2-1 win over the Burlington Bees on Friday. The TinCaps swept the three-game series.
Ilarraza scored after he entered the game as a pinch runner on second base and advanced to second on a wild pitch.
Fort Wayne starter Reggie Lawson struck out seven while giving up one run and three hits over seven innings. Diomar Lopez (2-2) got the win with three innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Adrian Almeida (0-2) took the loss.
