MIDLAND, Mich. -- Hudson Potts hit a two-run single in the top of the 11th inning to help lead the TinCaps to a 7-5 win over the Great Lakes Loons on Thursday.

The single by Potts scored Reinaldo Ilarraza and Jorge Oña. The single came after an RBI single by Ona that gave the TinCaps the lead earlier in the inning.

In the bottom of the inning, Great Lakes scored on a sacrifice fly by Gage Green that brought home Cody Thomas. However, the rally ended when David Bednar got Luis Paz to fly out with a runner on first to end the game.

Ilarraza singled three times, also stealing a base in the win.

Bednar (1-0) got the win in relief while Steve Berman (0-1) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
